Slow Stroll at Wetlands with Water Reclamation Plant Tour
The Parks Foundation is teaming up with the American Canyon Soroptimist for a monthly slow stroll series at Wetlands Edge trail. Join us for a leisurely paced walk on the second Tuesday of the month at 10:00 am. The pace will be casual for this social walk focused on meeting neighbors & enjoying a little outdoor time. Wear light layers & walking shoes. The stroll will last approximately one-hour along the flat, packed gravel wetlands trail. Participants should meet at the trailhead near the trail information kiosk. All are welcome.
The next Slow Stroll is scheduled for Tuesday, April 8th and will feature a behind-the-scenes tour of the City of American Canyon’s Water Reclamation Plant. The Water Reclamation Plant tour is optional. Please allow for an additional 45-minutes to participate in the tour.
